The ‘How Series’
We recently helped out long time friend and client Warren Howard from Howardco launch his fantastic new video series The ‘How Series’. The 6 part series takes business owners and managers through the HR process from finding the right people, to developing them, right through to leading them effectively. Note to any business owner reading this to check out the full series! – it’s actually really informative.
The first task was to create a logo that was a spin off of Howardco’s existing logo. We also wanted to incorporate a softer more educational theme to the look and introduced a hand written typeface to achieve this. The below is the final result.
Our friends at Milkbar Video then worked with Warren to create the content for the ‘How Series’. We helped with the branding and styling at the editing stage to make sure a uniform look was achieved both in the videos and all the collateral that surrounded them. With each different episode there is a handy download available which helps business owners implement the skills they’ve learnt from watching the video right away. We designed 6 different downloads for each episode.
The landing page design and website design followed all in line with the look and feel of the How Series. The design looks fantastic on all mobile devices and the episodes can be easily watched from every platform. The downloads also translate over to mobile devices and tablet really well making it super easy to use the How Series program.View the live website here
Spreading the good word of the How Series was also part of our job so we created a newsletter template design in Mailchimp that is sent out on a monthly basis. It includes a tracked link to each episode and also a handy link straight to the accompanying download. We also post to Warren’s LinkedIn account every month for the release of each new video. By using this digital method we can track and monitor the engagement and success of the entire campaign – which is pretty powerful.
