No Grey Creative are really proud to have been able to use our Graphic Design services to help out some furry friends!
A call out on Facebook was made by Wildlife Victoria for a Graphic Designer to help design up some animal fact sheets for an upcoming expo they were hosting. As animal lovers we were immediately on board and couldn’t wait to help out such a worth cause.
Wildlife Victoria is a volunteer based program that answers calls when our wildlife is reported injured or in trouble. They rely heavily on the time given by volunteers and donations made by the public as either monetary donations or items such as knitted pouches, blankets and towels. Their offices are located at the trendy Melbourne location: Abbotsford Convent. Last year (2015) Wildlife Victoria received over 70,000 calls, providing advice for many and calling on our network of over 1,500 dedicated volunteers to attend and assist over 40,000 different animals. That’s dedication!
We set about designing a new animal fact sheet that would help the volunteers explain what to do if someone finds a injured animal and would save on unnecessary call outs. Education is key when it comes out helping out injured or distressed Wildlife and we are so thrilled that our graphic design skills can help the cause.
