Rebecca and Maureen, the founders of Planticious are a Mother and Daughter duo cooking up a storm in the plant based food world. Bursting onto the scene in 2016, we were delighted to be a part of their branding process from the ground up.

The initial brief was to come up with a logo design for the vegan food business. Planticious offers plant based food products and services that are not only delicious but also nutritious. They wanted to see earthly elements to the logo but also see something fun, colourful and would easily translate over to a packaging design. We really got stuck into the logo design and the final result is what you see here. A fun, colourful logo design that suggests you eat the product (with the bite marks) and has a earthy organic feel to it with the down to earth colours used.

The packaging design brief was to be followed to allow for the design to be placed on a pouch pocket label print. The design had to immediately tell the shopper what the product was in a clear and concise way and to fit in also with the brand look and feel for Planticous. The  products will be predominantly displayed on the shopping website so they really needed to be straight to the point and look clear at a small size. 

Vegan protein packaging design

Planticious exhibit at expo’s all accross Melbourne and Brisbane and needed a great recipe card flyer design created to hand out. The card is designed so any new recipe can be easily slotted in to the template and is very very easy to follow. The inclusion of social media icons and the #planticious encourage customers to share their recipe creations online and make for a fun experience using the Planticious range of products. The recipe cards are also available to download from their website.

As plant based eating is a popular choice for people with dietary restrictions and requirements it was important to display allergen and nutritional icons on the packaging. We designed a custom set of icons for Planticious for the front of their packaging and for them to use on their website.

For the business card design, we wanted something that would evoke feelings of nature, plants and also really make that logo pop. Harnessing natural timber textures and lush green landscapes, the business card is truly something that will be looked at twice. The front logo is clean, clear and the back says exactly what the business does which is so important when designing a business card.
